We’re making a change to how we handle Fundraising Verification during high-traffic seasons and regional emergencies.

Normally, every first-time applicant has to go through a 5-day Prior Authorization (PA) period before they can fully post. We know that when an animal is in a medical crisis, five days can feel like a lifetime. To help get funds where they’re needed faster, we are introducing Open Verification (OV) periods.

What is Open Verification?

During an active OV period, we are waiving the mandatory 5-day wait for new applicants. If you have an urgent case, you can apply for Full Verification immediately.

When does it apply?

This fast-track verification system is strictly for life-saving situations. It only covers:

• **Individual Medical (FC-01):** Critical surgeries, emergency vet visits, or accidents.
• **Emergency Relief (FC-05):** Natural disasters or large-scale rescue emergencies.

If you’re raising money for general supplies, food, or non-urgent gear, the standard 5-day aging process still applies. We need to keep the open verification period clear for the animals who truly can’t wait.

Staying Safe & Honest

Because we’re moving faster, we have to be even stricter about the rules.

1. Zero Tolerance: If anyone uses an OV window to submit fake documents or lie about a case, it’s an immediate, permanent ban with no appeals.
